Hey, I’m Charles! Welcome to my website.
I am a NYC based actor/comedian and I’m 5’11”. I’m 6’0” with shoes on. I’m 7’11” with stilts on. And lastly, I’m 5’6” if I’m like crouching a little bit.
I grew up outside of Chicago (suburbs…) and I started acting with improv comedy and really bad stand-up. I love anything improv, comedy, stand-up, sketch, and if you thought it couldn’t get more annoying, I’m in a musical sketch comedy group! It’s called LaLaHaHa and we’ve performed at Uprights Citizen Brigade, Caveat, Chelsea Table and Stage, and have a monthly show at the People’s Improv Theater in Midtown. www.LaLaHaHaNYC.com!
My acting training includes screen acting at Stonestreet Studios through NYU Tisch Drama, Shakespeare Performance in London at RADA, acting and writing at Playwrights Horizons, and acting at Carnegie Mellon’s summer program.
You can see me on screen in FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 and The Better Sister on Max. Also check out my Tik Tok @charlesahsu. On the stage, I most recently performed in The Book of Mountains and Seas by Yilong Liu and directed by Knud Adams at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Outside of being an actor, my favorite hobby is telling my roommate I’m going for a run when I’m really just going to get coffee wearing athleisure,
